Nancy was born in Mexico and raised in El Paso, TX. When she first came to America, she did not speak English. However, thanks to Sesame Street, her bilingual classmates, and books, she quickly picked it up, and English became her favorite subject in school. Nancy is now fluent in English and Spanish.

Nancy has worked in several libraries including 5 years in a public school library, 2 years at the Killeen Public Library, and 3 years at the University of Texas at El Paso Library. Her love for books began with Charlotte's Web, Nancy enjoys all genres, but she she prefers to get lost in the pages of young adult fantasy books.
